Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform UK political party, has officially announced that they are ready to accept Bitcoin and other digital cryptocurrency donations from authentic donors. He announced that the party had begun accepting donations in the form of digital currencies at the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas, and Reform has become Europe’s first major political party that accept cryptocurrency donations. “We are going to launch, in Britain, a crypto revolution. We’re going to make London one of the major trading centers of the world,” Farage announced at the Bitcoin conference.
Reform UK is Set to become the First European Political Party to accept Crypto Donations
The potential UK presidential candidate and the Reform UK political party leader, Nigel Farage, and his statement at the 2025 Bitcoin Conference have received significant attention from the crypto community and British politics. He announced that the party will accept donations in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and is aiming for a crypto revolution in Britain.
The official website of Reform announced that their website has been updated to be compatible with crypto donations, and all the donations will comply with Electoral Commission rules, and any kind of anonymous donations will not be accepted. At the Bitcoin conference, Farage acknowledged crypto political donations as ‘innovative’ and said they will make London one of the major trading centers of the world.
Nigel Farage stated at the Bitcoin Conference 2025 in Las Vegas that, as of now, they were the first political party in Britain able to accept donations in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. He acknowledged that they were far behind America but mentioned that, at this time, people with Bitcoin could donate to them, provided they were eligible. He added that his message to the British public, and particularly to young people, was to help them bring their country properly into the 21st century. He also emphasized the need to recognize that crypto and digital assets were here to stay.
Radom, a prominent crypto payments provider in the UK with a VASP license, has confirmed through a blog post that they are ready to use the platform to facilitate donations to the Reform UK party. “Reform UK now accepts crypto donations via Radom. A European first for major political parties, signaling broader institutional crypto adoption,” says Radom. The spokesperson of Radom stated that the crypto community is one of the most globally connected and politically aware demographics today, and he added that this partnership reflects how digital assets are moving from the fringes of finance into the core of civic participation.

Crypto Assets and Digital Finance Bill: A New Plan from Reform UK and Nigel Farage
During the Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas, Farage said that Reform UK was planning to implement a cryptoassets and digital finance bill to make the country one of the trading hubs in the world. Nigel stated that the bill would cut capital gains tax on cryptoassets from 24% to 10%, turning the UK into a “crypto powerhouse.” He mentioned that the crypto legislation his party had drawn up would include a “bitcoin digital reserve in the Bank of England.
The Crypto Assets and Digital Finance Bill will play a major role in the upcoming election, and this will be one of the most important campaign strategies that Reform UK might implement. “We have put together… the Crypto Assets and Digital Finance Bill. We will campaign for this, and we will put it in place when we win in the general election.” Farage announced at the conference. Along with the crypto assets and digital finance bill, they are also on the verge of introducing a two-year regulatory sandbox to enhance crypto innovation in London.
